Bunratty Irish Poteen (pronounced po-CHEEN) is the Moonshine of Ireland that was outlawed in 1661. This ban stayed in effect all the way to 1991, when Oliver Dillon of Bunratty Fine Drinks was granted permission to legally produce this legendary spirit once again, when it was approved for export only to the United States. Made with Irish grain, Bunratty Poteen is a pleasant aromatic spirit with a robust taste and smooth, clear finish. It can be enjoyed neat or chilled, and makes an incredible Irish Coffee. Bunratty Irish Poteen is exclusively available in Irish stores and duty-free shops.
